We were asked to take part in this exhibition in Shanghai that took Berlin’s image as an open, demanding pop-cultural metropolis as a main idea and asked young graphic and media artists: ‘What makes Berlin addictive?’
Our contribution was a poster showing the backside of different Berlin postcards from the last 100 years. Only the description of the locations and the basic graphic elements are visible. By reading the texts the viewer has to create his or her own vision of the German capital and derives some fragments of the city’s modern history.
