These stamps were designed by Vladimir Llovet Casademont for a competition held by the Netherlands Tuberculosis Fund. The stamps show an inflatable globe that relates to how the disease is being transmitted. A wireframe showing the larger cities on our planet is placed next to this transparent globe. Due to the transparency of the wireframe, cities like Athens and Mexico City end up being next to each other. The entry won the competition and was released in 1997.
